- Clearwater Valley Overlook- An awe-inspiring view of the pristine Clearwater River as it drains Wells Gray Park on of the largest completely protected watersheds in British Columbia.
- Third Canyon Waterfall and “The Garter”
- Our journey continues north to visit 3rd canyon and see a magma column whose origins were the opposite of what geologists thought.
- Green Mountain Viewpoint: Mountains, valleys lakes and rivers as far as the eye can see. From here we can see 15 of the Wells Gray volcanoes- but they are in disguise…
- Dawson Falls: This is the closet you will ever be to this much rushing water
- Helmcken Falls: Three times higher than Niagara Falls, The Murtle River shoots into empty air over an incredible stone cavern to form Helmcken Falls.
- This tour will take 4.5 to 6 hours depending on the time spent at each stop.
-
Option 2
The Wildwaters of Wells Gray and the secret waterfall. Same tour as above but also includes a steep walk to an off the main track waterfall. Not suitable for folks with unsure footing or balance issues.
-
Option 3
Wells Gray Park is a dynamic place. A lot happens over the summer season in nature. Let you guide take you to the days hotspot- are the flowers blooming? Are the bears out? Are the salmon jumping? Your guide will lead you on a 4- 6 hour hike to explore the best of what Wells Gray has to offer. This will be a moderate hike without challenging or technical terrain.
-
Option 4
If you would like to canoe, we offer interpretive day canoe trips deep in to the heart of Wells Gray Park. The opportunities for adventures are endless.
The massive Wells Gray Park protects the watershed of the Clearwater River and the Clearwater and Azure Lake are the heart of it. A trip on these lakes offers you the chance to swim, paddle and enjoy one of the most pristine bodies of water in the world. No canoeing experience is needed as our guides are also instructors and all trip members will have the opportunity to perfect Canadian canoeing techniques.
On the way back from the lake, we will stop at the gorgeous Wells Gray Park waterfalls.
