COVID 19 BOOKING POLICIES

BOOKING POLICIES AS OF OCTOBER 30 , 2020

FAMILIES AND ‘SOCIAL BUBBLES’ OF TRUSTED FRIENDS OVER 5 PEOPLE

  • For now, we are taking confirmed bookings from families and ‘social bubbles’ of trusted friend groups. Our minimum booking will be of five people paying full price.  This number will only apply if there are COVID restrictions in place.  If the COVID  restrictions are lifted and your group is under eight people,  Wells Gray Adventures reserves the right to add more folks to the  trip.  
INDIVIDUAL BOOKINGS FOR  LESS THAN 5 PEOPLE

  • If you are and individual, or under the five-person minimum for a private guided trip , we are taking bookings, with no deposits or confirmations. We will watch the COVID situation very closely. As soon as borders begin to open, and / or our provincial health officer lifts restrictions, or modifies them, then we will ask for a deposit and confirm your booking.

CANCELLATION POLICY FOR SUMMER 2021

  • A 15% NON-REFUNDABLE BOOKING FEE is required to hold all reservations. Canadians pay by e-transfer, or check. All others can pay by credit card, check (US), or bank transfer.
  • The trip must be paid in full 45 days prior to trip departure.
  • Cancellations up to 45 days before the departure date will be refunded less 15% of the trip costs per person booking fee.
  • Unless COVID border closures and travel restrictions  are a factor, cancellations of summer trips after 45 days prior to departure will lose all monies paid.
  • If government-imposed travel restrictions (i.e. border closures) are the reason for your cancellation, you can cancel up to 4 weeks prior to your departure to receive a refund of the trip fees MINUS THE 15% booking fee.
  • If government-imposed border closures and travel restrictions have caused your cancellation, you can roll 100% of the fees paid toward another departure.
  • WGA reserves the right to cancel any trip within 30 days of the departure date for a full refund. WGA does not give refunds on guiding or accommodation for schedule changes due to weather or other natural events.

GROUP BOOKINGS 

Groups over eight people have the potential to get 15% off the total price of their trip.   

  • To receive a 15% discount, the trip must be paid BY THE GROUP ORGANIZER. The first payment will be 15% of the trip cost and this in NON-REFUNDABLE.  If individual payments are made for group bookings the group discount will be 10%. 
  • The remaining fees are due from the trip organizer 45 days prior to departure; no individual payments will be accepted for group bookings receiving a 15% discount. Again if you prefer to have everyone in the group pay individually the discount will be 10%.

GROUP CANCELLATIONS

  • If government-imposed travel restrictions (i.e. border closures) are the reason for your cancellation, you can cancel 4 weeks prior to your departure to receive a refund of the trip fees MINUS THE 15% booking fee.
  • If government-imposed border closures and travel restrictions have caused your cancellation, you can roll 100% of the fees paid  toward another departure.
  • Any other  whole GROUP CANCELLATION for any reason will lose ALL monies paid. 
  • WGA reserves the right to cancel any trip within 30 days of the departure date for a full refund. WGA does not give refunds on guiding or accommodation for schedule changes due to weather or other natural events.
