The mountains and meadows around our cabins in Wells Gray Park provide a huge variety of spectacular terrain, covered in the most reliable powder snow in the province - Cariboo Mountain Powder!

We offer a range of trips for all types of adventurers, from the ultimate in steep 'n' deep powder-hounding to gentle cross-country and snowshoe tours.

Dateline October 30 2007 – Winter has come early to our mountains this year.  Two weeks ago we had 1.2 meters (3 ft) of solid snow at Trophy Chalet.  It looks like another good snow year in the SW Cariboo Mountains.

There are still some good weeks left in both Trophy and Discovery Lodges.  Please drop us an e-mail if you are interested in skiing with us this year.

CHALET RENTAL
Our three small lodges are perfect for self guided winter ski groups.  The lodges are very easy to operate with propane and solar as the main energy source.  The lodges are very comfortable but not too fancy and that keeps the price at a fair level for ski groups.

This area is rightfully famous for its snowpack as we get one of the most consistent snowfalls in BC. The terrain really makes this a classic place to ski.  All three lodges are situated in very skiable and manageable terrain: groups can ski around the cabin without big exposure, and more experienced skiers can go further a field and explore the bigger features.  All in all, this is a very user friendly place, and that is why 80% of our winter guests are return guests.

We provide full facilities; you bring your own food. You will need eight people to book space for a minimum of four nights. The maximum booking in the chalets is twelve.

2007/08 COST: $43 per person per night, for a minimum group of eight

BREAKING NEWS...

For parties of 2 or less, we have one week still open, from Mar 23-29.  This is a great trip that helicopters into Discovery Chalet and skis there for 6 days, then we ski across to Trophy Chalet for a night before skiing out.  The price for the 7 day fully guided and catered ski trip, including the helicopter is $1250 + GST.

Small Groups – if you have a small group of 4 people or more and want to have a guided trip with us or an avalanche course, please contact us and we can put a trip together for you.
