HUT-TO-HUT HIKING
ADVENTURES
Based out of our hut system in the alpine of Wells Gray Park, these
buildings allow ecologically sound access to the sensitive high
country.
The price includes transport to the trailhead, great food, backcountry
accommodation in our comfortable chalets, and expert guides who
will share their extensive knowledge of Wells Gray Park and of the
plants and animals that reside there. We work hard to ensure that
these trips remain among the best backcountry experiences you will
ever have!
7-day trips
(3-cabin traverse)

Our prices include guiding services, accommodation, all food, and transport to
/ from trailhead from Clearwater. We are also able to arrange
accommodation for the nights preceding and following your trip -
please just ask!
Prices for juniors under 13 years old are
25% off.
Please note that you will need to bring a good-quality backpack and
suitable footwear.

PADDLING ADVENTURES
6-day trips
This trip takes you by canoe the length of the
aptly named Clearwater Lake and after a short portage, up the glacial blue waters of Azure to the white beaches of
Rainbow Falls, where the Angus Horne River cascades down a cliff
and tumbles into Azure Lake.

3-day trips
The ideal introduction to canoe-camping on beautiful
Clearwater Lake in the heart of Wells Gray Park. We stay at a lovely
lakeshore campsite where you can fish, hike and swim.

Retail price: $410 + 6% GST, a total of $434.60 per person
Our prices include
guiding services, canoeing and camping equipment, meals, and transport to

from the lake from Clearwater. We are also able to arrange
accommodation for the nights preceding and following your trip -

Kids under 13 years old are
25% off.
You will need to bring your own sleeping bag (it is also possible
to rent these locally).

for Canoe Trips
CANOE + HIKE COMBO ADVENTURES
For people who like a little of each!
First, we drive to
Clearwater Lake where we load up the canoes and paddle to a lovely
beach camp. Here you can go fishing, hiking and swimming. The camp
is gorgeous and the food is great; what more can you ask for? On
the third day, we paddle back to the pickup, and after touring the
famous Wells Gray waterfalls, we head for the lovely dinner waiting
at our bed and breakfast accommodation.
The next morning, we hike
into the high country to spend three days at a secluded mountain
hut. You will never see more amazing alpine flower meadows than
on 52 Ridge or a more beautiful view than the one from Battle Mountain.
If three days is all you have, book just the canoeing or the hiking
for a perfect break. The price includes transportation to the trailhead,
food, guiding, accommodation and canoeing equipment.
6-day trips

Retail price: $890 + 6% GST, a total of $943.40 per person
The price includes
guiding services, canoeing / camping equipment and alpine cabin
accommodation, all meals at the lake / in the mountains, one night
at a B&B with dinner and breakfast, and transport to /
from the lake and trailhead from Clearwater.
You will need to bring your own sleeping bag for the paddling
section (it is also possible to rent these locally), and a
good-quality backpack and suitable footwear for the hiking section.

INTERPRETIVE DAY TRIPS
One of our experienced and knowledgeable guide-naturalists
will collect you from your hotel, B&B or other accommodation in
Clearwater, and take you on a full-day hiking or canoeing excursion
into the true wilderness of Wells Gray Park.
Our trips include guiding / interpretive services, transportation
from your accommodation in Clearwater, and lunch, and offer the very
best way to experience this beautiful area!
